Lauran Spencer

Lauran was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and is a New York based dancer, singer, and actress. A distinguished alumnus of Booker T. Washington HSPVA's Dance department, Ms. Spencer graduated suma cum laude from George Mason University's School of Dance where she was a founding member of the university's Phi Beta Kappa chapter.  After graduating she performed with Jessica Danser's Dansfolk, Arthur Aviles' Ritual Dance, Okra Dance Company, and Borne Dance Company, respectively. Additionally, she was a member of the inaugural cast of theTony-award winning "After Midnight" aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line's Escape. She has had the privilege of performing the works of many renowned choreographers, including Martha Graham, Bill T. Jones, Kate Skarpetowska, Stephen Petronio, and Camille Brown. Most recently she can be seen in NY local print ads and various television, film, and commercial productions. Lauran is thrilled to be home to share her energy and prior performance experiences with the Stacia's Dance family.
